When Richard and I first set out to create Escudo back in 2020, our original vision for the Ocean Seacrest featured a steel bezel, brown bezel insert, dark cocoa dial, rose gold hands and indexes—and an open case-back revealing the beautifully detailed movement.

That early prototype was never officially offered. Instead, we launched with the Preto, Azul, and the now-iconic Chocolate Bronze.

To mark 5 years of Escudo, we’re offering something truly special for our collectors:

We’re producing just 5 pieces of the Ocean Seacrest in its original prototype configuration, complete with the open caseback. These will be built using current production components, which means:

• Each watch will carry a standard serial number
• We cannot confirm which number you’ll receive
• This configuration will not be released officially

That makes each piece a rare and unique part of Escudo’s history.
